The DSC "Drug Store Cowboys"

Inciting flying fists and mayhem, DSC thrash ferocious punk fused with enough metal and ska to break your neck skanking. Drawing from The Misfits, Against All Authority, Pennywise, and Bad Religion, they set themselves apart with ear shredding, chainsaw guitars, gatling gun drums, two-fisted bass lines, and vicious, snarling vocals. In their own brand of skull crushing, fist pumping punk rock, Ryan Zellmer (guitar/vocals), Joe Asselin (guitar/vocals/trumpet), Curt Engbring (bass/vocals), and Eric Zellmer (drums) deliver an aural beat down like a brick in the face.

Since rolling out of a ditch west of Phoenix ten years back, DSC has rocked the southwest from AZ to L.A. With their roots in historic holes like the Mason Jar and Sid Copeland’s legendary Jugheads, they’ve played gigs beside Youth Brigade, Agent Orange, Dr. Know, and Michale Graves of The Misfits, building a rabid following along the way.

In 2008, they went into the studio to lay down their full length debut album, “We are the Drug Store Cowboys,” which is now available on iTunes, CDBaby, Stinkweeds Records, and all Zia’s Records locations across the southwest.

DSC is touring from Yuma to your mom, so keep your eyes peeled for dates in your hometown. Also, look out in 2010 for a split with The Facilities and another full-length album, as DSC returns to the studio to capture more madness for the masses!
